'Renfrewshire Council intends to appoint an external team (the Consultant) to deliver a robust business case and initial building and museum design brief for investment in the Category A listed Museum and Art Galleries and Coats Observatory, with consideration given to the adjacent library, Transit House and nearby Category C listed Paisley Philosophical Buildings. The Council has launched a significant regeneration strategy based on the latent potential of Renfrewshire's heritage, cultural and tourism assets and its burgeoning events and festivals programme.
