As part of a call by ERDF to address barriers to R&I in the CDIT sector, the University of Brighton's Digital Research and Innovation Value Accelerator project, (DRIVA), provides unprecedented access to Gatwick Airport's big data, including flight data, for start-ups and existing small and medium-sized businesses operating in the digital and information technology sectors across the full Coast to Capital region http://www.coast2capital.org.uk/our-area/ Funding has also been awarded from the Arts Council of England (ACE) to extend DRIVA activity and integrate the wider arts, cultural and creative industry sectors.
