Visual and Sensory Impairment Service
What the buyer wrote
While no formal call for competition was published on FTS, the Council has otherwise conducted the procurement in compliance with the PCR and the underlying Treaty principles of non-discrimination, transparency and proportionality. Given the response to the Contracts Finder notice, the Council considers that the lack of a call for competition is not likely to have materially prejudiced competition. Therefore, the Council has entered into contract with the preferred bidder identified through the procurement process. Organisations who requested to participate but were unsuccessful have been informed of this fact, and been provided with the information required under Regulation 86 of the PCR.
Bid for this and lost? There is a short window in which the decision can be questioned.
