The Authority currently has approximately 400 Properties within its property portfolio although this figure may change over time. Most of these properties were built prior to the formal prohibition of asbestos in 1999 and are known to have asbestos-containing materials (ACM's) incorporated into their structure(s). Each site built after 1999 has had a management asbestos survey with all identified ACM's assessed to provide an asbestos management plan for the Authority.
