The value of the service is expected to be below EU thresholds for services. It is estimated that approximately 60% of Harrow’s adult population and 58% of Barnet’s population are overweight or obese which is similar to the rest of England (PHE online 2016, Active People Survey). Initial calculations estimate that a large proportion of these people would be eligible for a referral to weight management services.
