Worcester Tree Preservation Order Survey Phase 2

Worcester City has over 300 TPOs (Tree Preservation Orders) comprising individual, group, woodland and area orders across the district. The earliest of these date to the late 1960s. Updating of all TPO data has been piecemeal in the past with the result that none of the datasets is fully reliable and all need to be checked before use. The Council require 37 TPOs to be surveyed These are: • 34 orders, comprising approx. 2896 trees as individuals and in groups (5 of these orders also include small area designations) • 3 area orders (a total areal extent of 9 ha approx. is included in area orders to be surveyed) The survey is to be carried out in batches to be agreed with the Council.…
