Disclosure and Barring Services

DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks are a legal requirement for a number of programmes at the university, especially Health, Medicine and Education programmes. It forms an essential part of the admissions process within any university. We are looking for a supplier who can provide a web based piece of software, accessible to applicants and students. The current annual spend with our incumbent supplier is £120k, however with the nature of the service this value is not guaranteed, with the recent cap of medical students being removed this could see numbers increase/decrease.
