The aim of this provision is to provide experienced Social Work Practitioners with the skills required to coach, mentor, supervise and assess social work students, Newly Qualified Social Workers and mentor Social Workers engaged in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. It should provide pathways to support Practice Educators to achieve level 2 Practice Education Professional Standards (PEPS). The programme should be available for delivery from autumn 2019 and will consist of a minimum of 20 delegates per cohort.
